Product overview
The benchtop range spans compact tube centrifuges (Centro-4-BL, Centro-8-BL, Cencom II, Centrolit II-BL for microhematocrit and microtubes) up to the high-capacity Macrotronic-BLT (2000 ml) and the high-speed Meditronic-BLT, Centronic BLT and Centromix BLT / Mixtasel BLT models. Most use maintenance-free (brushless) induction motors and DUR-AL / ABS housings with stainless steel chambers.
Refrigerated versions (Medifriger-BLT, Centrofriger BLT) control chamber temperature from -12 °C or -20 °C up to 40 °C. Depending on the rotor, top speeds range from 4,000 rpm up to 15,300 rpm (23,716 x g on the Centrofriger BLT).
