Overview

Product overview

The OptiMass 9500 overcomes limitations of quadrupole ICP-MS by acquiring all masses from 1 to 260 amu together, with detection limits equivalent to a quadrupole instrument reached within seconds. This speed supports higher throughput with conventional sample introduction.

Its software includes auto-optimisation, semi-quantitative analysis using factory relative sensitivity factors, retrospective semi-quantitative analysis, and statistical fingerprinting for comparative work such as forensic science. Transient signals from laser ablation, electrothermal vaporisation or flow injection are sampled 30,000 times per second.
