Product overview
The LabTech LAC series supplies a clean, dry stream of compressed air for laboratory instruments. The four models cover flow rates from 35 to 220 L/min, which LabTech states covers most needs of a medium-sized laboratory.
The compressors run autonomously and produce only the air the connected equipment requires. Every model has an integrated storage tank to support consumption peaks, and safety systems keep the unit within its design parameters. A built-in humidity removal system and automatic water drain deliver dry air, and the LAC40N can be stacked with LabTech gas generators.
Typical uses include AAS and ICP-OES, evaporation, feed air for the LabTech LZA zero air and LN nitrogen generators, thermogravimetric analysis and direct mercury analysis.
