Product overview
The LabTech micro centrifuge range consists of five compact units designed to give high performance in a small footprint at each workstation. Ventilated and refrigerated versions are available, carrying common microtubes and, depending on the rotor, PCR strips and 5 mL tubes, with relative centrifugal force up to 27,237 xg.
The 1524 microcentrifuge, for example, reaches 15,000 rpm and 21,206 xg with a dedicated 24 x 1.5/2.0 mL snap-fit rotor. It accelerates and decelerates in 15 seconds or less, offers a PULSE key for quick spin-downs, a key-lock function and 100 program memories.
Across the LabTech centrifuge line, refrigerated models cool to 4 °C in about 5 minutes and the instruments offer automatic rotor identification, user ID and password, automatic lid release and automatic RPM/RCF conversion.
