Overview

Product overview

The BH-200D-2 is a digital dry block heater for incubating and heating test tubes, microcentrifuge tubes, cuvettes and microtitre plates without a water bath. Formerly sold as the Stuart SBH130D, it accepts two single-width aluminium blocks or one double-width flexi block.

The large thermal mass of the aluminium blocks gives stable, accurate temperatures. Digital control reaches 130 °C, with block uniformity of ±0.1 °C at 37 °C and ±1 °C at 130 °C.

A hot warning light shows when the block is above 50 °C. Heating blocks are chosen to suit the tubes in use and are ordered separately from a wide range of inserts.
