Product overview
The SP-IAA4530 is an atomic absorption spectrophotometer operated entirely from a PC workstation, measuring by flame absorption and flame emission. It covers 190 to 900 nm with an 1800 lines/mm grating, spectral bandwidths of 0.1, 0.2, 0.4, 1.0 and 2.0 nm, wavelength accuracy of ±0.15 nm and a copper detection limit of 0.004 μg/mL.
An eight-position lamp turret changes lamps automatically and preheats all eight at once. Software handles lamp selection, burner height and position, optical energy, slit selection, wavelength scanning and peak searching, gas flow and automatic ignition. An integrated floating optical platform improves shock resistance and long-term stability, and an all-metal titanium burner is used for the air-acetylene flame.
Background is corrected by deuterium lamp and self-absorption methods. Safety interlocks warn and shut off gas for a wrong burner, gas leakage, low air pressure, power failure or abnormal flame. Results can be stored, exported to Excel and printed, and a graphite furnace accessory with PID temperature control extends the system to trace analysis.
