Product overview
The CFG-5DK is a benchtop low speed centrifuge for testing and research in biochemistry, clinical laboratories and hospitals. It reaches a maximum speed of 5500 r/min and a maximum RCF of 5310 ×g, with a maximum capacity of 4 × 500 mL.
A maintenance-free brushless DC motor with high torque provides fast acceleration and dynamic braking, and vibration absorbers keep running steady. Speed accuracy is ±30 r/min, the timer runs 0 to 99 minutes and noise is 58 dB or lower. Swing rotors cover microtitre plates, 50/100 mL tubes, 32 × 10/15 mL tubes and 250 mL bottles.
Microcomputer control with a touch pad and digital display allows speed, time and RCF to be set directly, and the last program is stored automatically. The housing is steel with a stainless steel chamber, and protections include an electric lid lock, lid holding while the rotor turns, overspeed and imbalance detection.
