Product overview
The CFG-MP2R is a microplate centrifuge for quick spins of samples in PCR plates. It is designed for 96 and 384 well plates with small volumes and accepts skirted, non-skirted and semi-skirted plates, two plates at a time.
Speed ranges from 2200 to 2800 rpm with a maximum RCF of 550 ×g. A brushless DC motor gives low noise, little interference and maintenance-free running, accelerating from standstill to full speed in 10 seconds or less and braking to a stop in 4 seconds or less. The timer runs from 15 seconds to 1 minute 59 seconds, with countdown mode and a short-run function.
Operating information is displayed in real time, and opening the lid stops the rotor automatically. The unit draws 45 W, works on 110 to 220 V and weighs 4 kg in a 260 × 240 × 226 mm footprint.
