BCS-I and BCS-II Bacti-Cinerator Infrared Sterilizers
Request a quoteOverview
The BCS-I and BCS-II are infrared bacti-cinerators for high temperature sterilization of inoculation loops, inoculation needles, test tube mouths and bottle mouths. They use no open flame, produce no pollution and are not affected by air currents, so they can be used in biological safety cabinets, laminar flow hoods, near fume extractors and on mobile carts.
The heating element is made of 95% alumina ceramic with high wear, corrosion and temperature resistance. At a working temperature of about 930°C ±30°C an inoculation loop is sterilized in around 2 seconds, with a 600°C standby temperature. The BCS-I has a φ36 mm port and 8.5 cm heating depth for items under 35 mm, and the BCS-II has a φ22 mm port and 15.2 cm depth for items under 20 mm.
The heater angle adjusts from 45° downward to 75° upward, so tube and bottle mouths containing liquid can be sterilized without spilling. A digital chip and automatic voltage regulation keep the temperature stable when supply voltage varies from 180 to 240 V. Power consumption is 200 W.

Inoculation loops are sterilized in about 2 seconds at around 930°C.
Infrared heating is wind resistant and safe inside biosafety cabinets and clean benches.
95% alumina ceramic offers high wear, corrosion and temperature resistance.
Tilts from 45° down to 75° up to treat tube mouths without spilling liquid.
BCS-I has a φ36 mm port and BCS-II a deeper φ22 mm port.
Holds the set temperature as supply varies between 180 and 240 V.
Al-Shaker specifies the configuration, documents the system, and supports it across Jordan, the GCC, and MENA.
