Product overview
The VACP-WC3Y is a benchtop water circulating vacuum pump, or water aspirator, that recirculates water from its 15 L tank to provide vacuum while saving water. It has a flow of 60 L/min, an 8 m lift and two suction taps of 10 L/min each, driven by a 180 W all-copper coil motor with a protective cover.
The two taps work independently or together, each with its own vacuum gauge, so two containers can be evacuated at the same time. A check valve on the suction line stops circulating water from flowing back into the evacuated equipment if operation stops unexpectedly. The pump can also run external circulation to supply cooling water to a reaction setup. Pump parts are stainless steel and resist acids and alkalis without producing oil or other contaminants.
It is used for evaporation, distillation, crystallisation, filtration, decompression and sublimation in university, pharmaceutical, chemical and food laboratories.
