Product overview
The LYO60B Series benchtop freeze dryers use temperatures of -60 °C and vacuum to remove moisture from vaccines, bacteria, medicines, food and other heat-sensitive materials such as antibiotics, blood products, hormones and enzymes. They suit laboratory freeze drying tests in pharmaceutical, biological, chemical and food work.
Four versions are available: LYO60B-1S standard chamber, LYO60B-1P with an 8-port manifold, LYO60B-1T stoppering chamber and LYO60B-1PT stoppering chamber with manifold. Standard chambers offer 0.12 m² drying area and 1200 mL loading, and stoppering chambers 0.09 m² and 900 mL. The 6.5 L stainless steel condenser has no coils, captures 3 kg of ice per 24 hours and supports independent pre-freezing, with no-load vacuum of 5 Pa or less.
A 7 inch color touch panel shows sample temperature, condenser temperature and vacuum as values and curves, with USB data export. A cascade compressor system, transparent drying chamber and included 8 m³/h vacuum pump are standard, with optional electric defrost.
