Request a quoteOverview
The MSC-B208 is a binocular biological microscope for routine laboratory observation of specimens. Its Siedentopf viewing head is inclined at 30° with interpupillary adjustment from 55 to 75 mm, and wide field WF10×/18 mm eyepieces are fitted. Achromatic objectives of 4×, 10×, 40× and 100× sit on a quadruple nosepiece, with a 20× objective and quintuple nosepiece available.
The double layer mechanical stage measures 140 × 135 mm with a 75 × 50 mm moving range. An Abbe NA 1.25 condenser with iris diaphragm and filter, coaxial coarse and fine focusing with 0.002 mm fine divisions, and brightness-adjustable 3 W LED illumination provide clear, even images. Optical coatings give at least 95% transmittance.
A finite optical system is standard, with infinity optics as an option. Further options include a turret phase contrast kit, dark field attachment, 360° rotatable viewing head and a heating stage module. It runs on 100 to 240 V.
