Product overview
The MSC-B400W is a biological microscope built on a UIS infinity optical system and designed to be expandable, accepting vertical illumination, fluorescence and other accessories. It provides 40X to 1000X magnification with 10X plan field eyepieces (φ22 mm) and infinity plan achromatic objectives of 4X, 10X, 40X and 100X (oil) on a quadruple nosepiece.
The Siedentopf binocular head is inclined at 30°, rotates 360° and offers interpupillary adjustment from 55 to 75 mm. A double-layer mechanical stage of 140 × 160 mm moves 76 × 45 mm, and coaxial coarse and fine focusing has a 30 mm range with 0.002 mm fine graduation, tension adjustment and a limit stop.
An Abbe N.A. 1.25 condenser with iris diaphragm and Kohler illumination are lit by a two-colour LED that switches between yellow and white light with adjustable brightness, and blue and green filters are included. Darkfield is available as an option.
