DBI-R3000 Thermo Shaker Dry Bath
Request a quoteOverview
The DBI-R3000 is a thermostatic shaker driven by a brushless DC motor, combining dry block heating with mixing for sample incubation, catalysis, blending and preservation. PID control keeps the temperature accurate and adjusts the heating rate to reduce waiting time.
The block is set from 0 to 105°C and controls from room temperature +5°C to 105°C with accuracy and uniformity of ±0.3°C, heating from 25°C to 100°C in 10 min or less. Shaking runs from 200 to 3000 rpm on a 2 mm orbit. The heated lid has its own control up to 110°C to prevent evaporation and cross-contamination, and a built-in fan cools from 100°C to 37°C in 12 min or less.
Ten programs can be stored with up to 5 points and 99 cycles. Short mixing, automatic preheating, auto resume after power failure, temperature calibration and over-heating protection are built in, and optional blocks are available for common tubes and plates. Applications include enzyme reactions and deactivation, PCR sample preparation and storing enzymes or DNA libraries at the bench.
