Product overview
The BSC-IIB2-5J is a Class II Type B2 biosafety cabinet for biosafety and other laboratories that need to protect personnel, test samples and the environment. It is suited to work with pathogens of risk levels 1, 2 and 3 and reaches ISO level 4 cleanliness inside the work zone.
The cabinet uses a vertical laminar negative pressure design with 100% exhaust and no recirculation. Two ULPA (U15) filters give a filtration efficiency of at least 99.9995% at 0.12 μm, with a downflow velocity of 0.25 to 0.40 m/s and an inflow velocity of at least 0.5 m/s. The exhaust air is filtered before discharge to protect the environment. The work zone measures 1600 × 600 × 660 mm with a maximum opening of 470 mm.
The outer body is electrostatically sprayed cold-rolled steel, the work area is stainless steel on three sides with 10 mm rounded inner corners for cleaning, and the front is inclined at 10° for comfort. A 7-inch color touch screen shows all operating parameters, and alarms cover filter blockage, blower overload and window opening limits.
