CODR-16A COD Digester

The CODR-16A is an intelligent multi-parameter digester for COD, total nitrogen, total phosphorus and hexavalent chromium testing. It holds 16 tubes with a capacity of 0 to 10 mL each and heats to a set temperature of 165°C within 10 minutes. Digestion temperature is user adjustable from 45 to 300°C, and the timer runs from 1 minute to 96 hours.

Six pre-stored programs cover COD, total nitrogen, total phosphorus, hexavalent chromium and custom digestion, with 3 custom modes. After samples are loaded, the unit waits and starts timing automatically once the digestion temperature is reached, then stops heating when the preset time ends. Good thermal insulation saves energy.

A high light transmission safety shield keeps the reaction visible, and a protection plate helps prevent burns. Further functions include real-time clock, fast mode switching, alarms for temperature reached and over-temperature, and overheat protection. It is used in environmental, wastewater and water treatment laboratories.
