The SP-CLR410C, SP-CLR411C and SP-CLR412C are economical colorimeters with D/8 geometry and both SCI and SCE measurement, which gives results more consistent with visual assessment. The 410C has a big Φ8 mm aperture, the 411C a small Φ4 mm aperture, and the 412C switchable dual apertures for samples of different sizes.
A 40 mm integrating sphere, LED light source and CMOS sensor cover 400 to 700 nm at 10 nm intervals, with display accuracy of 0.01, repeatability of ΔE*ab ≤0.04 and inter-instrument agreement of ΔE*ab ≤0.4. Each measurement takes about 1 second. The instruments provide 30 test parameters, including opacity, whiteness index and yellowness index, together with color spaces such as CIE Lab, LCh and Hunter Lab, and 26 illuminants.
Auto calibration keeps operation simple, and Windows software is available for data management. These colorimeters suit routine color difference checks in plastics, paint, textiles and printing.
