Product overview
The ELD-300 measures the density of liquids by the Archimedes displacement method combined with electronic weighing, displaying the density value directly. It follows GB/T 611, GB/T 11540, GB/T 12206 and GB/T 5518 and avoids the setup and handling of the traditional Westphal balance and pycnometer methods.
Density resolution is 0.001 g/cm³ over a range of 0.001 to 99.999 g/cm³, and each measurement takes about 5 seconds, so repeated readings can be taken quickly. A sample of about 50 cc is enough, the measuring cup is easy to clean, and samples from room temperature up to 100°C can be measured; with a thermostatic bath, density can be measured at a required temperature.
It handles flowing, viscous, volatile, corrosive, high-temperature and suspension liquids and emulsions, such as solvents, adhesives, paints, resins, oils, food additives, drinks and dairy products. One-button calibration, a dust and draft cover, and an RS-232 output for printing or PC connection are included.
