Product overview
The DM Series measures liquid density by the oscillating U-tube principle, calculating density from the change in vibration frequency of a small sample in the tube. Three models are offered: the DM-3005 with ±0.0001 g/cm³ accuracy, the DM-3005A at ±0.0003 g/cm³ and the DM-3004 at ±0.0005 g/cm³, all covering 0 to 3 g/cm³. Built-in Peltier control sets the measuring temperature from 5 to 70°C, or 5 to 50°C on the DM-3004.
About 2 to 3 mL of sample is needed. A 1080P HD camera shows the U-tube in real time to confirm there are no bubbles, and a standard peristaltic pump automates injection, measurement and cleaning. Fast and accurate modes, built-in SOPs, atmospheric pressure compensation and a built-in drying pump simplify routine work, with more than 30 units such as specific gravity, alcohol, API and Brix on the DM-3005.
The meters comply with ASTM D4052, D5002, D3505, ISO 12185 and IP 559 and relevant pharmacopoeias. Four user levels, electronic signatures and an optional 21 CFR Part 11 audit trail on the DM-3005 and DM-3005A support regulated laboratories.
