Product overview

The HMD Series digital display heating mantles heat round-bottom flasks by surface heat conduction, with ten sizes for flask capacities from 50 mL up to 20000 mL. Heating power ranges from 0.08 kW on the HMD-1 to 2.5 kW on the HMD-400.

A single-screen PID temperature controller with a PT100 sensor gives fast heating, good uniformity and precise control from ambient +20 to 250 °C, with a maximum surface temperature of 450 °C. The sensor is held on an adjustable rack with stainless steel rods.

Nichrome wire heating elements are insulated with high-quality aluminum silicate cotton for continuous operation. Multi-position versions with several rows can be produced on request, and smaller models are available for 100 to 120 V or 200 to 240 V supplies.
