DISS-Y8 and DISS-Y12 Automatic Dissolution Sampling System

The DISS-Y series are automatic dissolution sampling systems with 8 (DISS-Y8) or 12 (DISS-Y12) channels, compatible with dissolution testers from most manufacturers. Precision 26 mL syringe pumps drive automatic filtration, sampling and equal-volume media replenishment, with repeatability RSD of 0.5% or less and channel-to-channel RSD of 1% or less.

Up to 16 sampling times can be programmed at intervals from 1 minute to 999 h 59 min, with single volumes from 1 to 15 mL (expandable to 30 mL) in precision or speed modes. The system discards the initial filtrate (0 to 10 mL), then distributes and retains the continued filtrate. Filtration uses 10 μm cannula filter tips and φ25 mm inline filters of 0.45 or 0.8 μm, which can be rinsed by circulation. Sampling usually finishes within 30 seconds.

Samples are collected into 15 mL tubes or directly into 2 mL or 10 mL vials with septum-piercing needles. Data integrity features include 3-level, 7-user privilege management, an audit trail, fingerprint or password login and online printing. RS232, RS485 and network interfaces are standard, with WiFi and Bluetooth upgrades.
