PR5-416EX Explosion-Proof Refrigerator

The PR5-416EX is a 416 L upright refrigerator built for storing volatile substances where an ignition source must be avoided. An anti-explosion compressor and controller system protects the stored load, while a forced-air cooling system keeps the cabinet frost free with good temperature uniformity across the 2 to 8°C range, controlled to 0.1°C.

The stainless steel chamber carries five adjustable wire shelves, an LED light and a service-free drainage system. A door lock, controller password and keyboard lock prevent unauthorized changes, and a built-in backup battery keeps the display and alarms running for up to 8 hours without mains power. Alarms cover high and low temperature, power failure, sensor failure and door ajar.

It is intended for medicines, vaccines, reagents and biomedical products, operates on 187 to 242 V and suits ambient temperatures of 10 to 32°C. A temperature data logger is optional.
