Product overview
The FTA406 is a semi-automatic fat analyzer based on Soxhlet extraction, measuring fat content from 0 to 100% in samples of 0.5 to 15 g (typically 2 to 5 g). It processes six samples per batch using 80 mL solvent cups.
Integral metal heating covers room temperature +5°C to 280°C with ±1°C accuracy, and the electric circuit is isolated from the extraction space for safety. Extraction time is shortened by 20 to 80% compared with conventional methods, and solvent recovery is at least 80%. An air insulation design keeps the case near room temperature.
A 4.3-inch LCD with microcomputer control shows set and actual temperature together with set and elapsed time. Timer functions, over-temperature alarms and sound, light and on-screen prompts are included, and linear bearings give smooth lifting of the extraction assembly.
