Request a quoteOverview
The SP-LF97 series is a molecular fluorescence spectrophotometer available as SP-LF97, SP-LF97PRO and SP-LF97XP. A double monochromator design covers excitation and emission wavelengths from 200 to 900 nm, with a 150 W Hamamatsu xenon lamp and photomultiplier detector, and selectable 2, 5, 10 and 20 nm slits.
Scanning reaches 48,000 nm/min, so a standard fluorescence spectrum takes about one second and a 3D spectrum about one minute. The SP-LF97XP offers ±0.4 nm wavelength accuracy, a water Raman S/N of 200 or more (P-P) and a detection limit of 5×10⁻¹¹ g/mL quinine sulfate, while the SP-LF97 and SP-LF97PRO provide ±1.0 nm and 1×10⁻¹⁰ g/mL. A dual beam ratio monitor stabilises the excitation signal and a built-in optical shutter protects light-sensitive samples.
Applications include materials research, pharmaceutical analysis, biochemical and clinical testing, water quality monitoring and food safety testing such as vitamin C, selenium and aflatoxin.

28 parameters
Double monochromators cover 200 to 900 nm for both excitation and emission.
Digital signal processing allows scan speeds up to 48,000 nm/min and 3D spectra in about one minute.
Water Raman signal-to-noise ratio reaches 200 (P-P) on the SP-LF97XP and 150 on the other models.
A dual beam ratio monitoring system keeps the fluorescence signal strong and stable.
A 150 W xenon lamp and photomultiplier detector from Hamamatsu provide light intensity and detection sensitivity.
Protects unstable or photosensitive samples between measurements.
Al-Shaker specifies the configuration, documents the system, and supports it across Jordan, the GCC, and MENA.
