Product overview
The BMCA-1G measures the moisture content and bulk density of grains and other non-metallic granular materials, including paddy, wheat, corn, beans, rapeseed, vegetable seeds and feed. It covers 3% to 35% moisture with a measurement error of ≤±0.5% in the main range and repeatability of ≤0.2%, delivering a result in 10 seconds or less from a sample cell of about 230 mL.
Twenty common varieties are pre-calibrated for direct measurement, and four-point calibration is available for other materials. The backlit LCD shows bulk density, sample weight and temperature, and the meter calculates the average of repeated moisture readings.
It runs on four AA alkaline batteries or an external 9 V DC adapter and switches off automatically after 3 minutes without use. Weighing 0.83 kg, it is easy to carry and operates at ambient temperatures from 0 to 40°C.
