Request a quoteOverview
The HMG-500C and HMG-500D are high shear homogenizers for dispersion, emulsification, homogenization, pulverizing and mixing. A high-speed rotor inside a precision stator generates intense hydraulic shear, centrifugal extrusion and impact, producing stable, uniform results across pharmaceuticals, biochemistry, food, nanomaterials, coatings, adhesives, petrochemicals and many other industries.
Both models use a 500 W motor with stepless speed control from 10000 to 31000 rpm and handle 0.2 mL to 7000 mL (water) and viscosities up to 5000 cP in batch processing. The HMG-500C shows speed on a graduated scale and the HMG-500D on an LCD. The standard 25G work head is one of more than 20 compatible heads.
All sample-contact parts are 316L stainless steel with a PTFE shaft sleeve, rated for operating temperatures up to 120°C. Work heads attach through a quick-release coupling for easy assembly and cleaning.
