Product overview
The KJD-P20L and KJD-P08L are Kjeldahl digesters for the digestion of samples such as plants, seeds, feed, soil and minerals before chemical analysis. They are used in agriculture, forestry, environmental protection, geology, petroleum, chemicals and food, as well as in universities and research institutes.
The KJD-P20L holds 20 tubes and the KJD-P08L holds 8, both with 43.5 mm wells in an aluminum alloy heating block with an aviation-grade coating. The design temperature is 450°C, control accuracy is ±1°C and the heating rate is about 8 to 15°C per minute. Heating power is 2.8 kW and 1.3 kW respectively.
An LCD temperature controller with PID control offers timed shutdown from 1 to 999 minutes and alarm functions. The tabletop and tube rack are welded brushed stainless steel for corrosion resistance, and an optional exhaust system removes SO2 and other harmful gases from the digestion tubes.
