Benchtop Low Speed Centrifuge CFG-5B

The CFG-5B is a compact benchtop low speed centrifuge for experiments and research in biochemistry and hospital clinical testing. It reaches a maximum speed of 5000 r/min and a maximum RCF of 4020 ×g, with a maximum capacity of 6 × 50 mL.

A range of angle rotors covers tube sizes from 24 × 5 mL and 18 or 24 × 10/7 mL through 12 × 15 mL to 6 × 50 mL. A maintenance-free brushless DC motor with high torque gives fast acceleration and deceleration, and a dedicated shock absorption assembly keeps running smooth. Speed accuracy is ±30 r/min, the timer runs 0 to 99 minutes and noise is 58 dB or lower.

The touch panel and digital display allow speed, time and RCF to be set directly, and operating parameters are memorized automatically. The body is steel with a stainless steel chamber, protected by lid, overspeed and imbalance safeguards, in a 430 × 340 × 250 mm footprint weighing 16 kg.
