The MFA series are vacuum filtration manifolds for filtering several samples through membrane filters at the same time. The MFA-3S and MFA-3RS are 3-branch models with 300 mL SS316L funnels, SS316L support screens of 100 μm, stainless steel valves and an SS316L holder. The MFA-3S uses an integral SS316L connection, while the MFA-3RS uses a stainless steel rubber stopper connection.

The range also includes 1-branch and 6-branch versions, plus glass funnel models with glass or PTFE support screens and ground joint connections. Membranes of 47 mm or 50 mm diameter with pore sizes such as 0.22, 0.45 and 0.8 μm can be used, chosen to suit the chemical properties of the sample. The funnel is held with an anodized aluminum clamp, and each branch has its own valve.

All manifolds can be autoclaved at 121°C for 20 to 30 minutes or sterilized with ethylene oxide. They are used for microbiological testing, water analysis and sample preparation with a vacuum pump and collection bottle.
