Overview

Product overview

The MSC-M31J is an infinity-corrected metallurgical microscope for inspecting semiconductors, flat panel displays, circuit boards, metallic materials and precision tools, and for teaching and research. It combines an epi-illumination system for reflected light with transmitted illumination through an Abbe N.A. 1.25 condenser with iris diaphragm.

Long working distance plan objectives, starting from L Plan 5X/0.12 with a 23.6 mm working distance, sit on an inward-facing quadruple nosepiece and deliver high-resolution, high-contrast images. Wide-field WF10X eyepieces with a 22 mm field number give a flat and comfortable view, and the 30° Siedentopf trinocular head offers interpupillary adjustment from 55 to 75 mm.

The double-layer mechanical stage measures 210 × 140 mm with a 75 × 50 mm moving range. Coaxial coarse and fine focusing includes locking and limit devices, 2 μm fine graduation and a 24 mm focusing range. Polarizing observation is also supported.
