MDS-800-T40 Microwave Digestion System

The MDS-800-T40 digests batches of 40 samples in 50 mL vessels with TFM liners for analysis in food, textile, geology, metallurgy, coal, biology, cosmetics, petrochemical, environmental, wastewater and battery manufacturing laboratories.

A contactless IR sensor measures the real-time temperature of the sample solution, not the vessel wall, in each vessel, and a contactless pressure sensor monitors the pressure of each vessel. The vessels use an auto-vent and self-resealing design that releases a sudden over-pressure and reseals immediately, reducing sample loss and vessel damage. Microwave power is adjustable from 0 to 3000 W at 2450 MHz, and the rotor turns 360° continuously in one direction.

Up to 255 method programs with up to 10 steps each can be stored, setting temperature, pressure, time and power. Safety comes from a double-locked door, over-pressure and over-temperature adjustment, abnormal sound monitoring and a 316L stainless steel cavity with corrosion-proof coating and a high-power exhaust blower.
