SP-LIF450 NIR Spectrophotometer

The SP-LIF450 is a near-infrared spectrophotometer covering 900 to 2500 nm with a cooled Hamamatsu InGaAs detector, ±0.2 nm wavelength accuracy and 12 nm spectral bandwidth. Samples are analysed by diffuse reflection without chemical reagents, pre-treatment or destruction, and several components such as moisture, fat, protein and amino acids can be determined within about one minute.

An integrating sphere diffuse reflection system with a large sampling spot and rotating sample table improves reproducibility for uneven samples. A built-in PTFE reference and polystyrene wavelength standard provide automatic reference correction and wavelength monitoring, and instruments are calibrated with NIST-traceable standards so models can be transferred between units. Calibration uses MPLS regression.

Sample cups and accessories cover particles, powders, liquids and films. The software includes data collection, preprocessing, evaluation and user management, and ambient temperature and humidity are recorded with each spectrum.
