Product overview

The NEC60-R12E is a nitrogen blow-down evaporation system that automatically evaporates up to 12 samples in parallel with end-point detection. It combines uniform, gentle water bath heating from room temperature to 60 °C with vortex airflow technology for rapid and gentle concentration of liquid samples.

It is commonly used with 60 mL and 250 mL tubes. Each of the 12 nitrogen channels can be switched on or off individually, gas flow is adjustable from 0 to 5.0 L/min in 0.1 steps, and flow can be set as a gradient as the sample volume decreases. Nozzle angle and horizontal position, over 30 mm or more, can be adjusted during evaporation to suit different tubes. An end-point sensor detects completion at 1.0 mL.

A 10 inch built-in touch screen controls flow and temperature with individual tube control and saves methods. The bath fills and drains automatically under software control with a level sensor, and has double-layer glass and three-sided transparent windows with internal lighting.
