Product overview

The NEC90-R80W is a nitrogen evaporator and sample concentrator that combines water bath heating with nitrogen blowing. It is used for concentrating environmental water, soil and gas samples, pesticide and veterinary drug residue extracts in food testing, and samples in biochemical, pharmaceutical and polymer analysis.

It holds 80 sample vials of up to 80 mL across 8 nitrogen channels, each with individual gas flow control. The water bath is PID controlled from room temperature to 90 °C. An electronic proportional valve regulates nitrogen flow from 0 to 3.0 L/min in 0.1 L/min steps, and the needles descend at a user-set constant speed over 160 mm or more to follow the falling liquid level.

Positive-pressure nitrogen above the samples excludes oxygen and moisture. Reduced-diameter needles with identical inner diameters stay centered in the tubes for even evaporation across all positions, and quick-release needles simplify cleaning. A built-in touch screen stores 110 or more methods, and a three-sided transparent bath window gives a clear view of the rack.
