PCR-482 Gradient Thermal Cycler
Request a quoteOverview
The PCR-482 is a gradient thermal cycler with two 48 × 0.2 mL blocks. Eight long-life Marlow Peltier units form four circuits that control four temperature zones, so the two blocks can run different PCR programs at the same time and both support gradient runs from 30 to 105°C with a 0.1 to 30°C spread. Ramp rates reach 6°C/s, adjustable down to 0.01°C/s, with ≤±0.2°C uniformity and ≤±0.1°C accuracy.
An 8 inch capacitive touch screen with graphical interface shows the running program and remaining time, and files can be edited during a run. The internal memory holds more than 200,000 PCR files in user folders, with 11 templates, USB export, a USB mouse option and Wi-Fi control of several cyclers from a mobile app or PC.
The stepless adjustable, pressure-protected hot lid works from 25 to 115°C. GLP reports, three-tier user permissions, power failure recovery, touchdown and long PCR functions and one-click incubation support routine and research work.

Two blocks of 48 × 0.2 mL wells accept tubes and 8-tube strips for 5 to 120 µL reactions.
Independent control allows two different programs and double block gradients in parallel.
Peltier ramp rate up to 6°C/s with ≤±0.2°C block uniformity.
Graphical setup and live monitoring, with editing allowed while a program runs.
Wi-Fi control from app or PC, USB data export and storage for 200,000+ files.
GLP reports, three-tier user login and automatic resume after power failure.
Al-Shaker specifies the configuration, documents the system, and supports it across Jordan, the GCC, and MENA.
