BPNA-4 Plant Nutrition Analyzer
Request a quoteOverview
The BPNA-4 performs non-destructive measurements on living plants without affecting their growth. In a single reading it reports relative chlorophyll content from 0 to 99.9 SPAD, nitrogen content from 0 to 99.9 mg/g, leaf surface temperature from 10 to 99.9°C and leaf humidity from 0 to 99.9% RH, over a 2 × 2 mm area on leaves up to 1.2 mm thick, at intervals of 2 seconds.
Multi-point, multi-stage calibration ensures accuracy, with chlorophyll accuracy of ±1.0 SPAD, and a multi-layer leaf chamber design shields the result from ambient light and temperature. A high contrast OLED screen shows readings along with the average, maximum and minimum of the last 30 measurements.
The instrument stores 2000 records, and Bluetooth links it to a mobile app that records sample names, numbers, locations and photos and exports data to Excel. Two 1.5 V batteries support about 5000 measurements, with a low battery warning at 20%. It serves agricultural and forestry institutes and universities.
