Overview

Product overview

The MSC-P41M is a polarizing microscope with an infinity optical system and modular design, used for research and inspection in geology, chemical engineering, medicine and pharmaceuticals. It is also suited to crystal phase observation of liquid polymer materials, biopolymers and liquid crystal materials in research institutes and universities.

Infinity-corrected, strain-free long working distance plan objectives, such as PL L5X/0.12 with 26.1 mm working distance, sit on an inward-facing quadruple nosepiece with ball-bearing positioning. The polarizing unit can be moved in or out of the light path, and both polarizer and analyzer rotate 360°. The Φ150 mm rotating stage has 360° graduations, a 6′ vernier scale, adjustable centring and a lock, with up to 30 mm of vertical stroke.

WF10X/22 mm and reticule 10X/22 mm eyepieces, an Abbe N.A. 1.25 condenser and coaxial focusing with 2 μm graduation complete the optics. Illumination is from a 6 V/30 W halogen lamp with adjustable brightness, and the trinocular tube switches 100% of the light to the camera for low-light imaging.
