Product overview
The PCR-Q16 Series is a compact fluorescence quantitative PCR instrument with two 8-well blocks of 0.2 mL tubes that can run two different files at once. Two versions are offered: the PCR-Q16-1B with one channel for FAM and SYBR Green I at up to 6°C/s, and the PCR-Q16-4F with four channels covering FAM/SYBR, HEX/VIC/JOE/TET, ROX and CY5 at up to 7°C/s.
Custom Marlow Peltier elements control the 0 to 100°C block with ±0.25°C uniformity for 15 to 100 µL reactions. Side scan detection with a high sensitivity photoelectric detector, long-life LED excitation and a black block for low background deliver a sensitivity of 1 copy.
A 7 inch touch screen running embedded Windows 10 performs quantitative and qualitative analysis, melting curve and genotyping without a computer, and 20 GB of memory stores 40,000 runs. Data exports to Excel, CSV or TXT over Wi-Fi or USB, with an optional thermal printer. Weighing 8 kg, it fits side by side with other units thanks to front and rear venting.
