The REV-AX series are laboratory rotary evaporators with automatic lifting, a color LCD menu interface and an unattended mode that places the unit in standby after the run. Three models cover evaporating flasks of 0.25 to 2 L (REV-2000AX), 0.25 to 3 L (REV-3000AX) and 0.25 to 5 L (REV-5000AX), with maximum water evaporation rates of 25, 27 and 43 mL/min.
A 70 W DC motor rotates the flask from 0 to 310 rpm (up to 200 rpm with 5 L flasks), with intermittent forward and reverse rotation for drying. The Teflon-compound bath has a safety handle and is heated by 1.5 kW under PID control, from room temperature to 99°C ±0.5°C with water and to 210°C ±2°C with oil. Lift travel is 150 mm with a fixed 60 mm safety distance.
The vertical three-layer coil condenser has a drip point and backflow prevention, with condensing areas of 0.18, 0.21 and 0.31 m². Imported PTFE seals, vacuum protection for the pump, anti-dry auto-lift and over-temperature standby protect the system. The REV-2000AX adds a bottle-pulling switch for easy flask removal. The units are rated IP42.
