Product overview

The ICB-S series are 70 L benchtop constant temperature shaking incubators with forced convection, available as ICB-S100B, ICB-S200B, ICB-S100D, ICB-S200D, ICB-SL100F and ICB-SL200F. The 100 models heat from room temperature +5 °C to 65 °C, while the 200 models add CFC-free R134a refrigeration for 4 to 65 °C with frost-free operation and automatic defrosting. Temperature fluctuation is 0.1 °C or less and uniformity ±0.6 °C at 37 °C.

The range covers multidimensional, unidimensional and track drive systems with a 26 mm orbit or adjustable 0 to 50 mm orbit, and speed ranges of 20 to 300, 20 to 600 or 20 to 260 rpm depending on the drive, with static culture also possible. A servo motor with PID feedback holds speed within ±1 rpm, and slow start and stop protect cells from shear. Multi-step programs set speed, temperature and time in one run, and the timer covers 0 to 9999 h or continuous operation.

USB data recording logs the whole run for download, analysis and printing. Flask clamps hold up to 23 × 100 mL or 4 × 2000 mL flasks, an alarm sounds when temperature deviates by 3 °C or more, and opening the door stops the shaker.
