Request a quoteOverview
The SP-CLD505 is a grating spectrodensitometer with 45/0 ring illumination geometry, complying with CIE and the M0, M1, M2 and M3 measurement conditions of ISO 13655. It accurately measures reflectance spectra, CMYK density and Lab values, along with printing parameters such as dot area, dot gain, overprint (trapping), print contrast, hue error and gray balance, using ISO Status A, E, I and T density standards.
Inside are a concave grating and a 256-pixel dual-array CMOS image sensor covering 400 to 700 nm at 10 nm intervals. Combined LED light sources, including UV, offer long life and low power consumption. Density repeatability is within 0.01 D, and inter-instrument error is within ΔE*ab 0.18. Apertures of Φ2, 4 or 8 mm can be specified.
The instrument has a 3.5-inch capacitive TFT touch screen, stores more than 20,000 results, and connects by USB or Bluetooth to expandable PC software. A Li-ion battery supports 5000 measurements in 8 hours. It is especially suited to process and quality control in printing plants, and also to film, textile dyeing and plastic electronics.
