Request a quoteOverview
The SP-CLD501 is a portable spectrodensitometer built around a concave grating and a 256-pixel dual-array CMOS image sensor. It uses 45/0 ring-shaped illumination and covers 400 to 700 nm at 10 nm intervals, with combined long-life LED sources that include UV light.
The instrument reports reflectance spectra, density values to ISO Status A, E, I and T, dot area, dot gain, trapping, print contrast and gray balance, alongside CIE Lab, XYZ, Yxy and LCh colour data. Measurement conditions M0 to M3 follow ISO 13655, and the aperture can be specified as 2, 4 or 8 mm. A 3.5-inch capacitive touch screen, USB connection, storage for more than 10,000 readings and PC software complete the package.
It is intended for process and quality control in printing plants, film processing, textile printing and dyeing, and plastics and electronics manufacturing.

Measures CMYK density, dot gain, trapping and print contrast as well as CIE Lab, XYZ, Yxy and LCh values.
A concave grating and 256-pixel dual-array CMOS sensor capture the 400 to 700 nm reflectance spectrum at 10 nm pitch.
Combined long-life, low-power LED illumination includes UV light for the M0 to M3 measurement conditions.
The instrument can be configured with a 2, 4 or 8 mm aperture to suit fine print details or larger samples.
A 3.5-inch true-colour capacitive touch screen and memory for over 10,000 test records support routine work on the press floor.
USB connection and PC software extend data management and reporting.
Al-Shaker specifies the configuration, documents the system, and supports it across Jordan, the GCC, and MENA.
