Product overview
The THDT-3 measures the crushing hardness of tablets using a high-precision pressure sensor for accurate, reproducible results. The test range is 2 to 350 N, customizable to 500 N, with 0.1 N resolution, accuracy of ±0.5% of range and repeat error within ±1%. Tablets from 2 to 40 mm in diameter can be tested, and diameter is measured as part of the test.
Users can choose manual single tablet testing or automatic continuous testing of up to 100 tablets per group. The system handles tablet compression, display, latching, reset, cycling, linear error correction and fault diagnosis automatically, and it calculates the return travel to shorten test time.
A high-definition LCD guides each step with prompts. Results are processed into statistics including maximum, minimum, standard deviation and range, and are printed on the built-in front-loading mini printer. Units switch between newtons and kilogram-force with one key.
