Product overview
The SLM-P200 is a manual heat sealer for ELISA, cell culture, PCR and deep well microplates, used to store samples, prevent evaporation and minimise contamination. It works with a variety of heat seal films for PCR, colorimetric and fluorescence assays and long-term storage.
Sealing temperature is adjustable from 80 to 200 °C with ±1 °C accuracy, and the heater reaches 170 °C in about 300 seconds. Sealing time is set from 0.5 to 99 s, in 0.1 s steps up to 10 s, and controlled temperature, time and pressure give consistent seals. Plates from 9 to 48 mm high are accepted.
A drawer-type sliding platform makes plates easy to load and remove, and an over-heating protection device is built in. The unit draws 400 W and weighs 11 kg.
