Product overview
The TGA-1150 thermogravimetric analyzer measures mass change from room temperature to 1150 °C at heating rates of 0.1 to 100 °C/min. Its micro balance has a standard range of 3 g, expandable to 50 g, with 0.01 mg accuracy and 0.1 µg resolution, and temperature resolution is 0.01 °C.
The furnace uses double-row windings of custom nickel-chromium wire with double insulation, and the alloy wire tray sensor resists high temperature, oxidation and corrosion. The heating furnace is thermally isolated from the chassis and balance, and an optional water circulation cooling unit is kept separate from the main body to limit heat and vibration. An ARM processor with four-channel AD sampling records TG and temperature signals, and PID control runs up to five programmed heating and isothermal segments.
A 7-inch touch screen allows TG calibration on the instrument, and USB software provides remote control, TG/DTG processing and comparison of five curves. Multi-stage gas switching and an exhaust port for infrared coupling are included. Applications cover plastics, rubber, coatings, pharmaceuticals, catalysts and inorganic, metal and composite materials.
