Product overview

The BEP-TB200 is a benchtop meter for turbidity and total suspended solids (TSS). It measures 0 to 2000 NTU, 0 to 500 EBC and 0 to 9999 ASBC, with resolution down to 0.01 NTU and accuracy of ±2% of reading up to 500 NTU and ±3% from 501 to 2000 NTU. An infrared LED light source at 850 nm and a silicon photodiode detector keep stray light below 0.02 NTU.

Calibration uses 2 to 7 points with Formazin standards, and readings can be shown in NTU, FNU, EBC or ASBC. A TSS conversion factor allows suspended solids to be measured accurately. Auto-read locks a stable result, the memory stores up to 200 data sets, and data can be transferred to a PC over USB. Password protection prevents unauthorized changes to calibration and settings.

The meter is supplied with turbidity standards of 0.02, 200, 500 and 1000 NTU, sample vials, a lint-free cloth and a power adapter. It is used in industrial wastewater plants, municipal water treatment and other industrial applications.
