Product overview
The ULF86-E Series covers seven models, from the 58 L ULF86-60E to the 838 L ULF86-840E, including compact and upright formats. A self-cascade refrigeration system with high performance compressors and HC refrigerant cools the chamber to any set point from -40 to -86°C, with microprocessor control, a PT100 sensor and the ability to run steadily at the lowest temperature for long periods.
Insulated inner doors divide the cabinet into separate compartments to limit frost build-up, while VIP insulation panels and a dedicated door seal reduce heat gain. The grade 304 stainless steel interior has adjustable shelves, and storage racks, boxes and a temperature recorder are optional.
Alarms cover high and low temperature, power failure, sensor error, filter and condenser cleaning, high ambient, abnormal voltage, low battery and door ajar, with a 72 hour backup, remote alarm contacts and USB data download on upright models. The units run on 187 to 242 V at 10 to 32°C ambient.
