Ultra-Micro Spectrophotometer SP-601-F
Request a quoteOverview
The SP-601-F is a full-wavelength micro-spectrophotometer covering 190 to 850 nm for fast quantification of nucleic acids, proteins and cell suspensions. A cuvette mode measures the concentration of bacterial cultures (OD600), and a fluorescence detection function is also included.
Only 0.5 to 2 μL of sample is needed, and it can be recovered after measurement. A xenon flash lamp and a 2048-pixel linear CCD give wavelength accuracy of ±1 nm and spectral resolution of 3 nm or better. Optical paths of 0.03, 0.05, 0.1, 0.2 and 1 mm are set by a high-precision motor with 0.001 mm accuracy, extending the dsDNA range from 2 to 37500 ng/μL, and detection takes under 6 seconds. Contaminants such as EDTA, phenol, protein, guanidine salts and RNA are flagged.
A 7-inch capacitive multi-touch screen and automatic detection keep the workflow simple. Applications include clinical diagnostics, blood analysis, forensic identification, environmental microbiology, food safety and molecular biology research.
