Request a quoteOverview
The USCG series ultrasonic cell disruptors convert mains power into high-frequency vibration that a TC4 titanium alloy horn delivers into the liquid, where cavitation crushes cells, homogenises samples and disperses nanomaterials. Four models are available: USCG-300 at 300 W, USCG-1500 at 1500 W, USCG-1800 at 1800 W and USCG-2000 at 2000 W, with standard horns of 3 to 20 mm and processing capacities from 0.1 to 50 mL up to 1000 to 3000 mL.
The generator scans 19 to 26 kHz automatically to find the resonance point and compensates amplitude to suit sample fluidity. Power is adjustable from 1 to 100% in 1% steps, the timer runs from 1 s to 99 h and pulse intervals from 1 s to 60 min, with continuous, pulse and timed modes. A temperature sensor with a 1 to 200 °C alarm setting protects heat-sensitive samples, and 99 user programs can be stored.
A 7-inch colour touch screen shows all parameters, a lamp inside the sound enclosure lets the user watch the sample, and overload and over-temperature protection are built in. Optional horns extend each model to other volumes.
