USCG-F Series Ultrasonic Cell Disruptor
Request a quoteOverview
The USCG-F series ultrasonic processors are used for cell disruption, extraction, dispersion, homogenisation and emulsification in sample preparation. Six models are available: USCG-300F (300 W, 3 mm horn, 0.1 to 50 mL), USCG-550F (500 W, 6 mm, 50 to 500 mL), USCG-650F (700 W, 8 mm, 100 to 800 mL), USCG-950F (1000 W, 10 mm, 500 to 1200 mL), USCG-1200F (1200 W, 13 mm, 500 to 1500 mL) and USCG-2000F (2000 W, 20 mm, 1000 to 3000 mL).
At start-up the generator sweeps 18 to 26 kHz to match the sample and load, and automatic energy compensation adjusts output for different media and viscosities. Power is adjustable from 1 to 100%, with timer settings from 1 s to 99 h and continuous, pulse and timed modes. A temperature sensor monitors the sample in real time with protection from 1 to 200 °C, and 99 user programs can be stored on the 7-inch industrial touch screen. A two-dimensional exponential horn design improves output efficiency, and a built-in switch selects 110 V or 220 V.
Applications include nanomaterial dispersion, cell lysis, plant and herbal extraction, soil organic matter extraction, COD degradation and oil-water emulsification.
